Popular BARRIQUE TOKYO items now available in Paris,
at concept store Maison WA

Expanding on BARRIQUE TOKYO’s popularity with international customers, BARRIQUE TOKYO is delighted to announce select products are now available outside of Japan for the first time, at the Maison WA concept store in Paris. Maison WA, specializes in Japanese artisanal and craft goods, providing a beautifully curated range of Japanese craft goods in the heart of this cosmopolitan city.

We chose France as our first international collaboration, because of the extremely high interest in Japanese culture and craftsmanship in the French and European markets, and awareness and appreciation of Japanese brands. The collaboration with Maison WA allows us to share the beauty and skill of Japanese traditional crafts in our unique products with a wider audience and customer base.

The product line-up at Maison WA includes Kakejiku runners, bottle bags, and shoulder bags, created by re-purposing kimonos and obis selected by artist Chieko Noguchi's aesthetic eye, and combining them with denim, leather, and other contemporary materials. Finished by hand, each BARRIQUE TOKYO product is one-of-a-kind. Retaining the spirit of traditional Japanese culture that lives in the kimonos and obis, they offer customers around the world both contemporary functionality and the deep pleasure of uniquely crafted Japanese artisanal products.
