Shibori is a technique in which folds of cloth are gathered together, threaded together, and dyed to create a pattern. After the thread is pulled out, the dyed color appears and the texture becomes fluffy.
This brown part is the seam allowance of the collar of the haori, so it is dyed as it is without wrapping the thread to avoid making it thick. This part is interesting, so I made it into an oblong cushion. The back is denim.
