The textile House of Soetsu Yanagi has influenced artisans and artists for a hundred years. With its trademark thread and color aesthetics, the House was known for sourcing the raw silk, spinning the thread, and dying and weaving silk kimonos fabrics. Actual samples of the work of Soetsu and his father Etsuhiro are rare and difficult to find.
