Threads in subdued green silk are woven into a gold lamé background in a pattern representing the Peacock feathers of Shosoin (The Imperial Treasure House in the ancient capital of Nara). This Chinese-influenced pattern is associated with the Imperial court of the Nara Era.

The design on a Full Pattern Obi covers the whole obi, so our artisans have more fabric to work with when remaking this type of obi. You can choose from three sets of products.
