Created in the vibrant, bold colour scheme of Bingata dyeing from Okinawa, this towel is characteristic of the art in its simplicity. Bingata uses various pigments and dyes made from plants to depict a variety of patterns.
Traditionally these towels, called Tenui, are multi-purpose, used as hand-towels, napkins, and often handbands as well.
