Thank you everyone for your patronage since we launched last year! It has been great to meet so many from so many countries! Now the day has arrived when I can welcome you to our newly renewed BARRIQUE TOKYO online shop.

We still offer the lines of interior decoration and accessories handmade from vintage silk kimonos, but now we also offer Made to Order items! You may have seen the announcements on Facebook  or Instagram .

The situation since last year has made it difficult for overseas customers who like Japan to visit us here, and it is likely to continue that way for a while. So, we wanted to make it even easier for them to experience Japan and the traditions of Japanese style and craftsmanship at home in their own countries. To meet each customers’ requests, we will remake the antique kimonos and silk obi-sashes that I carefully select from around Japan into interior decoration sets, according to each customers’ selection.

The photos posted on the site were taken at Stephen’s lovely house on the Izu Penninsula, and feature items remade from kimonos and obis to match the traditional Japanese style of the house. Of course, these and other crafted products available on the site provide an authentic Japanese accent to houses around the world!

ついにこの日がやってきました！

先日撮影シーンをSNSでちらっとお見せしたかと思います。

昨年ショップを立ち上げて以来、私たちなりの方法でショップ運営を行ってきました。日本好きの海外のお客様はこのコロナ禍来日して日本を楽しんでいただくことも難しく、残念ながらこの状況は今しばらく続きそうです。

そのような皆様にも自国にて少しでも日本や日本の伝統に触れていただけるとようにと、今回のリニューアルでBARRIQUE TOKYOではオーダーメイドをメインとした商品をご提供させていただくことにいたしました。

一人ひとりの皆様のご希望に少しでも添えるような商品をご提供できたらと思い、私が厳選した、アンティーク帯や着物をお客様のご要望に合わせ一点一点心を込めてリメイク製作いたします。

ショップで掲載する写真はスティーヴンの伊豆の素敵なお家で撮影してきました。純和風のお家にもマッチした帯・着物リメイクのインテリアです。

もちろん海外の皆様の素敵なお家にもとても映える素晴らしいアイテムです！
