As it may happen to the others, my chances of hand-writing has decreased tremendously these days.

In order to brush up my hand-writing skills, I started to taking lesions on what we call Pen-calligraphy, mini-version of Shodo calligraphy, starting last month.

Different from using regular pens and pencils, this is literally more closer to Japanese Shodo calligraphy using smaller special pens.

I haven't done this since I was a little girl, some decades ago, but it's been really an enjoyable time for me. I shall send you personally a hand-written greeting card once my skills are improved!

字を書く事なんて少なくなってきたこの頃ですが、個展の記帳・御祝儀袋の名前・・等々、自信を持って美しい字を書きたい！と・・・秋から大人のペン習字を習い始めました。

万年筆も久しぶりですが、小筆なんて子供の時以来。２時間無になって、ひたすら集中してる貴重な時間です。

まだまだ小学生レベルにも達してませんが、皆様に自信を持ってお手紙を送れる様に・・・

練習あるのみ〜頑張ります。
